Membership Benefits

• We will list your business on the Chamber website, www.baldwincitychamber.com, in the business directory.  We can list your business hours, links to your website, if applicable, and services that your business offers.
• Your business flyers, brochures or other promotional items will be available to the public in the Chamber office.
• You have the opportunity to place coupons or other information in our ‘Welcome Neighbor’ bags that are provided to new residents.
• Chamber luncheons are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, provide the chance to meet other members in a relaxed atmosphere.  You can make announcements about what may be going on at your business and place business cards, etc on the tables.  We normally have a guest speaker speaking on a business topic or information about issues impacting our community.
• You are invited to attend a monthly networking breakfast on the 4th Friday of each month. These are currently held in the Harter Union dining room at Baker.  Watch the newsletter for any changes in location.
• You will receive the Chamber newsletter that is distributed monthly.
• Tour groups frequently request information about our town and we provide a local map that shows our restaurants, shops and other areas of interest.
• Our Convention & Visitors Bureau organizes and promotes area events that benefit your business.  We encourage you to stay informed about events and to provide input if possible.
• We publicize our local events in many ways with the ultimate goal of increasing commerce for everyone.
• Socials offer an opportunity to get acquainted with fellow chamber members and showcase your business.
• The Chamber will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for new member businesses that have expanded, or relocated. A great way to let people know who you are, where you are located and what you do!
• Membership in the Chamber is 100% deductible as a necessary business expense.
• Membership Address Labels of all chamber members are available for a nominal fee.
• Members can take advantage of the discounts offered through the Member to Member discount program. You may also offer a discount to other members.

Networking Events

We invite members to join us at our monthly luncheons at noon at The Lodge on the second Wednesday of each month. Lunch is catered by one of our chamber members for a cost of $6, followed by introductions. Members can make announcements as well as provide flyers or business cards to be placed on the tables. We then feature a speaker and finish the meeting promptly at 1pm.

Members are invited to host a business social! Contact the office for more details on getting one scheduled.

Join us for our monthly Networking Breakfast on the 4th Friday of each month at 7:30am. We meet in the dining room in the Harter Union at Baker University. No reservations are needed! This is a chance to meet with other members in a more intimate setting. Any changes to dates, times or event locations will be noted on the calendar on the website.
