The commemoration of the 166th Anniversary of the Battle of Black Jack, which was fought on June 2, 1856, will be on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Visit Black Jack Battlefield and Nature Park for a reenactment of the battle at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Mingle and take photos with John Brown and other reenactors! Cannon demonstrations will take place 20 minute before both reenactments! Stop by our blacksmith booth, to watch forge demonstrations and learn about the unique entryway gate that’s being built for our park! Amber Scullery food truck will be onsite, offering smoked meat tacos, nachos, Cajun mac bowls, sandwiches and sides for purchase! This event is free, but we will be accepting donations!
