Volunteer to help the Chamber with numerous events and activities to make our community better.

Hosting is a wonderful opportunity for any family to bring some culture into your home, and you get to welcome a new family member! As a host family, we ask that you provide a bed with a frame, transportation for school activities, a loving home, and 3 meals a day. Students bring their own monthly spending money and health insurance.

You’re Invited! Join Meals on Wheels of Eastern Kansas and give back to your community! We are looking for volunteers and need your help. Meals on Wheels depends on volunteers to deliver meals and safety checks to seniors in Shawnee, Jefferson and Douglas counties. Most volunteers spend on average one hour per week delivering meals and are happy with the flexible schedule options.

The Nash Cares CareKit Program is seeking group volunteers to collect supplies and assemble snack bags and hygiene kits for Bert Nash Center clients to utilize. This volunteer opportunity can be done on your own, off-site, or on-site at the Bert Nash Center.
