Join the Heritage Conservation Council at the 2022 Preservation Conference in Baldwin City on June 24th and 25th. Experience the trails, tales, and structures that make the stories of Douglas County heritage. On Saturday the 25th, we'll gather in the Rice Auditorium at Baker University to enjoy a day of learning from local experts who work in heritage and preservation. Need a break to stretch your legs between panel sessions? The Lumberyard Arts Center and the Baldwin City Chamber will air local oral histories throughout the day on Saturday. Or visit Karl Ramberg who will be leading a stone carving workshop on the lawn at Baker University! During the lunch hour on Friday and Saturday, grab takeaway from one of the restaurants in Baldwin City's historic downtown district and eat with your peers at the Lumberyard Arts Center, the Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce, or in Sullivan Square!
