We are seeking volunteers to help clean up the battlefield and lawn around the Pearson house. We'd like to tidy up the grounds, trim vines and clean up flower beds. When the Battle of Black Jack took place, the land was clear of trees and brush. Our end goal is to bring the site back to its 1956 condition, so that visitors can experience the battlefield in the same state that John Brown, Henry Clay Pate and their men experienced it.
