The Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center is hosting its 36th annual Pioneer Celebration on April 25 at Arterra Event Gallery in Lawrence from 5:30 – 7 pm. Please join the Bert Nash Center as they highlight accomplishments, and honor those who have significantly contributed to address mental health in Douglas County. The evening will recognize Dr. Anthony Strickland with the Pioneer Award; present former Endowment Board members Beverly Smith Billings and Judy Wright with the Lyn Smith Award; recognize Alyson Wingert with the new Restoring Lives Award; and celebrate Rose Murray, BNC WRAP Therapist, with the Sandra Shaw Spirit Award.
