Haunted Humanities

  • Collins Library 518 Eighth Street Baldwin City, KS, 66006 United States (map)

In celebration of the Halloween season, BU Theatre’s next offering will bring a collaboration between Baker Theatre and the Baker Department of Humanities. Providing appropriately spooky material for what has been lovingly coined as a “Science Fair, but for Humanities”, select Baker students will present classic macabre literature for Haunted Humanities. On Oct. 30, selected Baker theatre students will perform monologues and/or scenes from the classic horror cannon of Poe, Shelley, Stoker and Irving in the Collins Library as part of the celebration. On November 1 st , in Darby Hope Theatre, they will perform an encore presentation, open to the public. The perfect way to cap off your Halloween Season!
