The Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, member-supported organization of business, industrial, and professional people who are dedicated to developing, promoting, and maintaining a sound and healthy economic climate for our community. We are currently 165 members strong and bring the best minds within the community and business leaders together to touch virtually every aspect of community life. Our program of work involves convention and tourism assistance, community strategic planning, heritage interpretation, small business assistance, and promotion of the Baldwin city area to those looking for a new home or just a day trip.

Are you willing to share your time and skills? Several area groups are seeking volunteers to assist with various events that will be taking place this summer. The Chamber office and Lumberyard Arts Center are also seeking volunteers. For a list of area organizations, please visit our business directory and search for “organizations”.

The Baldwin City Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday morning, along High Street next to the Post Office. A wide variety of produce, baked goods, dog treats, eggs, jams & jellies and even homemade burritos are available.

Starting June 9th, Kiss Me Kate’s will be open for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday Nites and will also be open during Art Walks!  Summer hours are as follows
Tues: 10- 3
Weds. 10-8
Thurs 10-8
Fri 10- 3

Kite Video has organized another food drive to benefit the Baldwin First United Methodist Church food pantry.  From July 12-26, drop off big bags of groceries or $10 or more in cash at Kite Video.  Receive an envelope of coupons worth over $50 at local businesses.  Coupons are limited to the first 75 families to drop off food.  One per family please. Thank you to the 27 businesses that are participating this year!

Baldwin Medical Clinic has a full time CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT position open. Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients. As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be Certified & have previous physician office experience. Interested in visiting Baldwin City? We offer various day trips and tours of our historical sites, attractions and shops. Contact our office for assistance in planning your trip! We also offer a quarterly newsletter that contains information about our upcoming events and specials being offered by our retail shops.
